Where it all started:
Nicky founded Vision Hygiene, a commercial cleaning service business, covering the West Midlands and Warwickshire regions, back in 2008. To this day, Nicky continues to run the organisation with a hands-on management approach, engaging with customers and staff directly.
As a single mother of 3 back in 2008 and in need of an income, Nicky initially started a domestic cleaning business under the name of ‘Nicky’s Pride’ During this period, Nicky was fortunate to have been cleaning for some wonderful customers, who asked if she would be able to clean office spaces too. This is where the story of Vision Hygiene began.
Her previous experience working in the washroom sector in the Birmingham area, gave Nicky an insight into how a commercial cleaning business can operate and more importantly, stand out from the crowd.
Additionally, Nicky grew up in a family headed by a successful businessman, her Grandfather Cyril, who owned the first Brass Foundry in Birmingham. Like her inspirational Grandfather, this instilled within Nicky the philosophy to always grasp the nettle and look to please, delight and exceed customers expectations. She would deal with problems head on as they arose and look to inspire her staff to not only take pride in their job but to always look to go that extra mile. As a family run business, this is the same ethos Vision Hygiene was founded upon and it continues to be how we treat our customers and staff today.

Here at Hygiene we are well aware of the high risk surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and the need to meet government guidelines on hygiene and cleanliness, to protect staff and customers alike. We undertake a risk assessment and needs analysis for each of our customers, before commencing a contract. Vision Hygiene will then work out an appropriate cleaning regime, all at an affordable cost. Whether you are looking for daily, weekly, or one-off deep cleans, our highly trained staff can deliver to your organisation, the right cleaning solution to suit your needs. Each cleaning team has an allocated supervisor for each site, who carries out weekly and ad hoc inspections, to ensure standards are maintained.
